"A 6-Point Position for Reformed Baptist Teaching on a Modified View of Continual Cessation"

"An Apocryphal Pic of the Raising of Lazarus" (Public Domain)

It breaks down like this:

1.)  There is a God-breathed prophecy that is contained in the completion of the 66 Books of the Bible alone that will never be duplicated and remains in uncomparablity.

a.)  There is a natural psychic ability that everyone has that can be used for good if with a civil good intent of access to non-occultic future information (Dr. Walter Martin clearly mentions this, but there is rarity of this among people that is enhanced in an "unprophecy prophecy" in a holy way).  There is a unmiracle non-miracle miracle by Satan that is counterfeit and a cheap "work" of supernatural ability that by outward appearance means something good but always ends evil.  For example, those who cast out devils in the ministry of Balaam Judas get the demon to come back.  I wish there was a cessation of demon possession in the day we live but from personal experience in light of the sole contentment of the written Word (without adding my view to it but the author's intended meaning alone) I am persuaded that demon possession still goes on, but the work of God in New Testament History is unmatchable and unattainable because everything about Jesus Christ is set apart in such a way that no one is better or greater than He.  Demon possession happens when there is a lot of sin in a fallen human where the demons are attracted to them to possess them due to the great sinning.

b.)  There is an unprophecy prophecy that is a real prophecy from Jesus or a false prophecy from Satan that is based on a Spirit-furthered mission of post-Bible prophecy that is from Jesus or contrary to Jesus from Satan that adds nothing to the unabbable Scripture but shows a weakened and corrupt reflection of the perfect revelation of the God-breathed Scriptures.

c.)  There is an uninspiration inspiration for good, because there is one inspiration in the written Word.  None of the false religions of the world would be like the Bible but thieves and robbers.  There is an uninerrnacy inerrancy for good, because there is one inerrancy in the Scriptures.  There is an unsuperintendence superintendence for good writings from Jesus, because there is one divine superintendence in the Scriptures.  There is an unperfect perfection touching positional truth where true Christians are sinless on the soul but there are sins of the body, but Jesus is perfect in body and soul.  There is an unmiracle miracle for good or evil depending on the source, because the Bible's miracles are unmatchable.  Miracles of Jesus cannot be attained by anyone, because He is the God-man.  Miracles of the apostles cannot be attained, because there are no apostles now.  There are martyrs in post-Bible times, but some die in impenitence for a Jesus they do not know while others imitate Antipas in a corrupted image.  An unmiracle miracle from God in post-Bible times shows us incomparablity  of  miracles.  A natural miracle is conception and birth, but also a sun set.  A supernatural unmiracle miracle from Jesus is foreseeing the future to stop the evil second cause, because it is much like Gandalf in LOTR where the Hobbits stumbles upon a way to see warfare to counter it.  Another unmiracle miracle from Jesus in post-Bible times is Jesus through angel affairs allowing exorcism upon the pre-converted elect or never-converted reprobates, but also what if the second cause summons Satan to destroy the pre-converted elect sinner through counter-intelligence to cause suicide?  An unmiracle miracle from Jesus is that He will bring them back, because let's just say this is a real life situation by eyewitness testimony even from unconverted heathens (no lie).

d.)  Is answer to prayer an extra-biblical revelation of God?  No.  Does He answer prayer?  Yes.  Does God answer the greatest kind of miracle?  Yes, sometimes.  Does this mean that by God's good in the things I approve here are charismatic?  No, but it would a better clarification to the doctrine of cessation.  I have no problem with the doctrine of cessation in all it says with saying there is an uncharistmatic charismatic that is from Jesus but not continualism but God's work post-Bible times.

2.)  There is a no apostle today like the New Testament Scriptures, because the apostles are unmatchable.

a.)  In a lesser sense, the apostle as a messenger (not like the NT apostles) is sent by a post-Bible appearance of Jesus Christ in His bodily presence.

b.)  A post-Bible appearance of Jesus Christ proclaims sola scriptura (but it calls for the Spirit's guidance because Satan is active to deceive) that confirms and points us to the contentment of the written Word alone but never a NT apostle but someone who Jesus will lead to spread the Bible-Gospel.  Does a post-Bible appearance of Jesus if true means it adds to the Holy Bible?  No, because it brings us back to the sole contentment of the Word.  When a true appearance of Jesus happens in post-Bible times what is His response?  He points those who chooses to appear too back to the biblical Word.  Was there statements that are not recorded that came from the lips of Jesus Christ?  Yes.  Why didn't the Spirit record them?  Because He recorded everything we need to know for justification by faith alone and godly living.  Does that mean everyone does what the Bible says?  No.  if everyone does not do what the Bible says, why question the appearance of the Incarnate Word to bear testimony of the Bible in written form?  Doesn't the question presuppose that man is doing what he should do when even the leaders of the local church do not exercise their leadership biblically?  How is anyone surprised that Jesus Christ makes appearances today?   Does sin get worse and worse?  Yes.  Does it mean a charismatic view of Jesus should be taken?  No.  How do we understand true encounter of Jesus?  Does He bring them to the Word like He did with me?  What has come of the encounter?  Regarding encounter with Jesus, little children hear and see Him, but does this constitute a view where there signs and wonders like unmatchable Bible times?  Not at all.  There will never be signs and wonders like Bible times, because it is unattainable, unmatchable and incomparable.  If we imitate Bible saints, we do so in corrupted weakness.  Its a similar way with Reformers, because we imitate them in a shattered image but they are not Scripture.   The Bible is so transcendent in some sense, but it does not mean it is not understandable or worth weak imitation to glorify Jesus Christ.  What is the exactly the same in Bible times?  The gospel and Christian living: namely, all we ever will need to give honor in excellence to Jesus' glory.

3.)  There is no miracle like the Old and New Testament Scriptures, because it is unmatchable God-breathed Scriptures but here is how we ought to explain miracles:

a.)  There is no miracle like the miracles of the signs of Jesus Christ and His apostles in the New Testament, because it is an incomparable time in God-breathed history in the outcome of the Scriptures.

b.)  There is a cessation of Old & New Testament miracles where it is no longer around in that it is not contained in the completed canon of the God-breathed Scriptures.

c.)  There is a rarity of post-and-non-Bible miracles of all kinds of things that point us to the contentment of Jesus Christ in an isolated context of post-God-breathed times recorded in the completed canon of 66 Books alone.

4.)  There is no speaking on tongues like the manifestation of the Book of Acts in the New Testament Scriptures, but this is a set apart encounter to counter the Tower of Babel.

a.) There is a natural speaking in tongues that could be seen in English with some Latin or Hebrew, but the pastor should translate it for the hymnology of the local church.

b.)  There is no biblical revelation today in speaking in God-breathed tongues like the New Testament Scriptures.

5.)  There is real encounter with hell where the pre-converted elect are brought there and brought back according to God's timing to bring about His purpose unto ultimate mercy.  There is also real encounter with Satan by unbelievers, but also a spiritual warfare against true Christians that also adds nothing to the Word but draws us back to the all-exclusive contentment of the 66 books of biblical revelation alone.

6.)  There is a SPIRITUAL SYSTEM where it contains information on thought, words, and deeds of time that is non-occultic depending on how its used but meant for the good of the people of the earth that is a way to transcend time to picture a now of heaven though everything is running down but it is meant for the good of all humanity and especially God's people (this being said it alone does not cover the scope of this non-occultic but godly secret yet supernatural secret but adds nothing to the biblical Scriptures but teaches us more of the unaddable contentment and exclusive infallibility of the written Word alone).
